Amherst, Mass., December 8. -- In the final hour of the Connecticut Valley Collegiate World Conference it was voted that all member delegates go to the Princeton Conference prepared to work for the adoption of a measure for the transference of all funds now expended for the reserve officers training corps to the establishment of exchange scholarships with other nations.

The usual amount spent by the Government in military instruction was said to be $50,000,000. Some of the supporters of this proposed measure urged that the amount by increased to $100,000,000. These supporters argued that the surest method of increasing international peace was by increasing international understanding and that sending Americans abroad and bringing allens here was one of the best methods of attainment.
