The Pi Eta show of 1926, the first performance of which will be given sometime in January at the Pi Eta Theatre, has been announced as "The Fool for Scandal."
The book is written by Read Hamilton Wight '26 of Belmont, the music by Leroy Whitney Grossman of Milwaukee, Wis., and others, and the lyrics by William Harvest Harkness, Jr., 2L., of New York. The final choice follows a long period, during which several plays were considered.
Mr. D. V. C. Lord, for many years Coach of Pi Eta shows, will be in charge again this year. The cast selected to work under his direction has as its principals, Leroy Grossman '26. C. H. Morgan 2d 2G.S., J. P. Crosby '28, and Daniel Wood '27.
The plot of the book has as its theme a reputation of the abuse recently heaped on the younger generation and satirizes the usual flaming youth. The older generation is represented by a publicity craving garter manufacturer.
