ALDEN ALLEY TO OPEN WORLD COURT SESSION

The Intercollegiate World Court Conference of Greater Boston, the preliminary parley to the general assembly of colleges and universities that is to take place at Princeton on December 11 and 12, will have its opening meeting tonight at 8 o'clock in Sever 11. The Conference will continue over the week-end, the final session being scheduled for Sunday afternoon.

Professor Manley O. Hudson '07, Alden G. Alley '01, President of the League of Nations Nonpartisan Association, George Collins, Secretary of the Fellowship of Reconciliation, Norman Thomas, Progressive candidate at the last New York mayoral election, and Kirby Page, author of "An American Peace Policy", are the most prominent of the men who will occupy the platform during the Conference.

Lamont Will Introduce Alley

Twenty-one New England universities and Colleges will be assembled tonight when Alden Alley is introduced by Corliss Lamont '24. Mr. Alley will speak on "The World We Live In."

Following Mr. Alley's address, an important piece of business will be transacted by the assembled delegates when each college or university present will nominate a representative to sit on the Findings Committee. The work of this committee will be to discuss proposals looking to the making permanent of some sort of student organization on international affairs, and it will also draw up a resolution covering the general sentiment shown in the discussion.

Tomorrow morning, the Conference will assemble at Phillips Brooks House, its rendezvous after the first meeting, at 9 o'clock. Following a speech by George Collins on the existing international organizations, the delegates will be split into small groups for further discussion on various phases of the question under consideration.

Hudson to Speak Tomorrow

Two hours after the opening meeting, the delegates will meet again as a body at 11 o'clock to listen to a talk by Professor Hudson. His subject has been announced as "Achievements of International Organization to Date."

The evening meeting tomorrow will take place at 8 o'clock when two speakers, Norman Thomas and George Collins, will share the platform. "The Relation of Public Opinion to Government Action" and "America's Responsibility" are the subjects that will be treated at this time.

On Sunday morning at 9 o'clock there will be a discussion on the relation of students to international matters. Kirby Page will provide the topics for the general discussion.

The Conference will come to a close on Sunday afternoon when Kirby Page will speak on "The Challenge of the World Situation to the Student Action."
