Professor C. T. Copeland '82, Boylston Professor of Rhetoric and Oratory, will give a reading at the Union on December 15, it was announced yesterday by the Union management.
Professor Copeland will read in the Upstairs Dining Room, the acoustics there being considered superior for reading purposes than is the case elsewhere in the Union.
The subject of Professor Copeland's reading has not yet been announced, but it is generally believed that it will be on some theme appropriate to the Christmas season.
Professor Copeland will start reading at 8.30 o'clock, and latecomers are warned that the doors will be locked promptly at that time.
