Graduate Basketball Nears End

The preliminary Graduate School basketball tournament is rapidly being played off and will be brought to a close next Friday. The final tournament will be started after the holidays, when the champion will be selected from the Graduate School teams and class teams.

In last Friday's games the first-year Law School team defeated the Arts and Science five 24 to 20 with a desperate rush in the final minutes of play. The Sophomores overwhelmed the Freshman squad by a 28 to 4 score on the same day.

The first-year Law School quintet won a fast game from the strong third-year Law School team, yesterday, 32 to 26. The greatest upset came in yesterday's 1927-1929 contest. The Freshmen after leading 24 to 7 at the end of the first period were held to one basket in the second half, losing 31 to 29.

The schedule for the remainder of the week is: Wednesday at 3 o'clock, Business I vs. Arts and Sciences; 4 o'clock. Law 2 vs. Law 1. On Friday, Law 2 vs. Law 3 at 3 o'clock; at 4 o'clock. Business 1 vs. Business 2.
