E. T. Putnam Jr. of Gore Hall, S. G. Hardy of Standish Hall, and R. H. O'Connell of Smith Halls have been elected chairmen of their respective dormitory committees.
In Standish Hall, C. M. Churchill was first elected, but resigned, and Hardy took his place.
In the committee elections, which were held November 11, Putnam was tied for the lead in Gore with B. H. Beal. Churchill led in Gore, with Hardy second, and O'Connell was high man in Smith. Putnam and O'Connell were stars on the 1929 football team.
The chairmen of these committees are considering propositions for separate dormitory smokers to take the place of the regular class smoker to be held after Christmas. Plans for the smoker will be announced then.
