1929 Harriers Defeat Yale

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Finishing against a strong wind on the New Haven three-mile track, the Crimson yearling runners defeated Yale 1929 with a score of 25 to 31 Saturday morning. Though two Eli runners scored among the first three winners, the Freshman had a strong nucleus of secondary runners which counted heavily in the scoring.

An Eli harrier, Jacobs, was the first to cross the line and was quickly followed by J. O. Wildes, captain and star runner for the Crimson first-year aggregation.
