Elusive Bruin Halfback, Who Will Threaten Crimson Defenses Today, Leads Brown Scorers With Five Touchdowns This Season

Jackson, Keefer, considered by many the best ball carrier that Brown has ever produced, and already being mentioned for All-American honors by the eastern sporting press, has scored a fifth of his team's tallies this year and, with 31 points to his credit, leads his nearest Bear rivals by more than ten points.

Twelve men have been responsible for the scores that Brown has made this year. With the exception of Keefer's record, all the other Brown players are closely bunched in the matter of politics, and this seems to indicate the presence of extraordinary team-play and versatility of attack. Keefer's record is all the more impressive under such conditions, and the rugged halfback is due to cause plenty of worry to the Crimson forward wall today.

Edes, Randall, and Payor are the other scoring threats of especial danger in the Bear backfield. Next to Keefer's 31 points, Edes and Randall have made the most impression on the score-board. Each has chalked up 19 points. Dixon, with only one point less is close on their trail for the runner-up position.

Brown this year has scored a total of 156 points. No field goals have been scored, and with the exception of 18 points, scored after touchdowns, all the Bruin tallies have been made via the rushing or overhead route. Twenty-three touchdowns have been amassed, and of these Keefer has five, while Edes, Randall, and Payor have three each. Mishol, shifty signal caller, has borne the burden of adding the extra points to touchdowns and has booted 11 of Brown's 18 points gained by this method. Captain Stifler, with four boots to his credit, is his closest rival in this department of the game.

Only two Brown line-men have personally carried or kicked the pigskin for scores. Captain Stifler and Broda, both wingmen, are the scoring line-men. Stifler with one touchdown, and four goals after touchdown, has amassed 11 points. Broda has crossed the final stripe once.
