The advance sale of tickets for the Holy Cross football game was reported by the H. A. A. to be very heavy. Up to last night 9,900 applications had been filed. Holy Cross has asked to be allotted 10,000 tickets. As sections 27 to 37 are reserved for holders of H. A. A. ticket books, this means that virtually all the seats in the Stadium proper are already called for.
Seats on the wooden stands will be put on sale next week and all late applications are now being attended to and will also draw tickets for the temporary stands.
Last night at 6 o'clock was the last hour at which applications for the Dartmouth game, on October 24, were received. Applications are again open for the Princeton and Yale games today.
