A week from today the committee on Freshman affairs will announce the nominations for members of the Freshman dormitory committees. Elections will be held in the first week of November.
The system of having the Freshmen elect their own committeemen was inaugurated last year; in previous years the offices had been filled by appointment of the Student Council.
Four men are to be elected from Smith, Standish, and Gore Halls respectively. Three will be residents of the hall voting. One candidate living in Shepard Hall will be elected on the Standish ballot, Little Hall will be represented on the Gore committee, and men not living in any of the dormitories will have a representative on the committee from Smith Halls.
Five men will probably be nominated from among the residents of the three main dormitories, with two candidates each from Shepard, Little, and the non-residents.
