According to figures released yesterday at University Hall, the registration at the University shows an increase of 515 over that of last year at this time.
The total number of students in the University, exclusive of the School of Public Health, is now 7247 while the registration on the third day of the last college year was 6732.
The College leads in the total increase with 3222 students as compared with 3099 last fall. The Law School gained 92 students, and the Business School 78, bringing their respective totals to 1255 and 675. The Graduate Schools of Education and Architecture also showed impressive gains over their last year's total registration.
The Bussey Institute and the Dental School were the only departments of the University to show a decrease in the number of students.
