New Haven, Conn., October 15.--Yale will act as host to the representatives of 25 of the leading universities of the country from October 28 to October 30, when the Association of American Universities meets here. Fourteen college presidents are expected to attend the sessions, among them Presidents Lowell of Harvard, Hibben of Princeton, Farrand of Cornell, and Wilbur of Leland Stanford.
The delegates are expected to hold conferences on matters of educational interest. They will be the guests of President and Mrs. Angell at a luncheon, of the Yale Corporation at a dinner, and they will be feted during their stay in New Haven by numerous other organizations. The Yale-Army football game is one of the major attractions on the program that has been arranged for their entertainment.
This will be the first visit of the Association, since its start 25 years ago, to Yale since 1904. The scope of the conference is limited to matters connected with graduate study.
