SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA GIVES FIRST CONCERT IN SANDERS

Initial Performance Given in Boston Last Week

The first of the nine scheduled concerts which the Boston Symphony. Orchestra, under Mr. Serge Koussevitzky, will render this season in Sanders Theatre, takes place tonight at 8 o'clock. The tickets for this evening's concert have been completely sold out, but persons leaving their names at the University Bookstore will be given the first opportunity to obtain any uncalled for reservations.

The opening of the forty-fifth season of the Boston Symphony Orchestra was held in Boston last week.
