Only five doubles teams have played off their second matches so far, the results of all third round games must be posted by tomorrow night, according to an announcement made yesterday by manager Lyon Boston '26.
J. F. W. Whitbeck '27 and Alden Briggs 1G.B., of the seeded players, both advanced to the fourth round with straight set victories. The defeat of H. N. Rawlins Jr. '27 by E. S. Mindlin in two sets came as a surprise. Mindlin won only after two hard sets, 7--5, 7--5.
