W. G. Saltonstall '28 of Readville, was elected captain of the Freshman hockey team yesterday before the game with Milton Academy which was played at Milton and ended in a 3 to 3 tie. Saltonstall prepared for the University at Milton and at Exeter where he played on the hockey teams.
In yesterday's game with the schoolboy sextet the 1928 stickmen overcame their opponent's lead twice to tie the score, but were unable to put over a winning goal. Milton got off to a two goal lead in the first period when Cunningham and Putnam drove the puck into the 1928 net.
Robinson Ties Score
No scores were made in the second period, but in the third Crawford, by means of clever stickwork, scored a goal to tie the score. The count remained even for only a short time before Wood of Milton shot the puck past Morrill to put this team in the lead. Shortly before the period closed the 1928 men rallied and by means of excellent team-work, Robinson tied the score.
