Lieutenant Leigh Wade has definitely decided to speak at the Union on February 6, it was announced last night.
He will be accompanied by Lieutenant Arnold, his mechanic, on the Round the World Flight, who will also give a short address. Colonel W. S. Browning of the Military Science Department has consented to introduce the speakers.
The two fliers will relate the story of the flight and some of their narrow experiences. They will also devote some attention to describing the flight conditions over some of the little known countries which they visited. After the talks, about 4000 feet of moving pictures will be shown. These are the official government films and constitute the only continuous pictorial record of the flight.
The meeting will be held at 7.30 o'clock on the evening of February 6 in the Living Room of the Union.
