ANNOUNCE PRIZE POEM SUBJECT

"The Conquest of the Air" Chosen for Garrison Contest

The Lloyd McKim Garrison Prize, awarded for "The best poem on a subject or subjects annually to be chosen and announced by a Committee of the Department of English", will be given this year for a poem on "The Conquest of the Air".

This prize, which consists of $125 and a silver medal, is open only to undergraduates in the University. Every man submitting a poem should send it in under an assumed name accompanied by a sealed letter containing his real name, and superscribed with the assumed name.
