FOUR HORSEMEN HOPE TO UPSET WEST POINT TODAY

The University polo team faces West Point today in its first intercollegiate contest since the close of the Christmas recess, at the West Point Riding Hall.

Last year the Crimson players were overwhelmed by a very powerful army team 14 to 2, but today's game may tell a different story. West Point is reported to have another strong team this year but the University players have shown marked improvement since their defeat by the 110th Cavalry team last Saturday, and a bitter struggle is expected.

Freshman May Prove Invaluable

R. A. Pinkerton '27, Captain G. E. Kent Jr. '26, W. H. White '28, and F. D. Stranahan Jr. '26, are the University players who will make the trip. Pinkerton, who played a fast, wide-awake game as a substitute in the Cavalry game will start at number 1 in place of Stranahan, who will accompany the team as a substitute. W. H. White '28, a Freshman without much previous experience, who has played a steady game all season, has retained his place at number 2, and is expected to give the West Point riders a great deal of trouble in the course of the contest.

Captain G. E. Kent Jr. '26, the cleverest and most elusive player for the Crimson, will again start the game at back. Kent was the outstanding star of the contest with Yale this year, when the University was nosed out 7 to 6 after a last minute spurt by the Blue riders.
