RESPECTABLE SENIORS ONLY NEED APPLY, SAYS KITTREDGE

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

"Respectable" seniors only will be admitted to English 2, a course in Shakespeare, according to Professor George Tyman Kittredge '82. A limitation of 200 is placed on the enrollment, but-more than 250 men crowded the lecture room in Harvard 6 yesterday when the course held its first meeting.

In order to reduce the throng to a number which would fit the room, Professor Kittredge declared that English 2 would be open to respectable Seniors, and Juniors in good standing. Many Sophomores, however, will be forced to drop out of the course.
