CALLAHAN FAMILY PLAYS NO FAVORITES IN BIG THREE

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Among the candidates who reported for the Freshman eleven yesterday was A. F. Callahan '28, football captain last year at Lawrence High. He is the younger brother of the famous Callahan brothers, J. T. ("Tim") and H. A. ("Mike"). The two older Callahans were gridiron captains at Yale and Princeton respectively in 1920 and played opposite each other in the Eli-Tiger battle.

The Callahans have conspicuously failed to follow in each others' footsteps. Tim, the oldest, went to Andover and Yale; Mike retaliated by going to Exeter and Princeton; now Arthur, the third brother, has impartially chosen Harvard.

Callahan is 20 years old, five feet nine inches tall, and he weighs 200 pounds. He may well be a valuable acquisition to Coach Campbell's squad.
