In the Harvard Interscholastic tennis tournament which got under way yesterday afternoon at Harvis Field. Loomis School piled up an early lead of 17 points which makes her an almost certain winner, while Exeter was second with 16, and Andover and Newton High tied for third with 12. The tournament reached the round before the semi-finals yesterday, and play will be resumed this morning at Divinity at 9 o'clock.

Loomis, due to the steady playing of Wright, who won three matches that were extended to three sets, is certain to win the Interscholastics as a team. But who will win the individual championship is difficult to foresee. Turner surprised everyone by his triumph in the Yale Interscholastics, but it is doubtful whether he will be able to repeat his performance. Tomorrow he will start off against his teammate, Martin, and then will face the winner of the Whitbeck Lavallee match.
