The last-minute victory of Soule and Parker over Dold and Manchester was the deciding factor yesterday afternoon in the Crimson's 5-4 victory over the Dartmouth Golf team at the Weston Country club in Weston.

Mapes and Hodder were the individual stars of the afternoon, both turning in scores of 78. The latter afforded considered surprise by the ease with which count being five up and three to go, Heary, playing at number two for the Green, also turned in a card of 78, and it was only at the 21st hole that Mapes was able to take a well-earned, victory.

The summary: Hodder (H) defeated Captain Sheehy (D), 5 and 3: Mapes (H) defeated Heary (D), 1 up (21 holes); Taft (D) defeated Plerson (H), 2 and 1: Batcholder (D) defeated Captain Clough (H), 5 and 3; Soule (H) defeated dold (D), 2 up, Manchester (D) defeated Parkers (H) defeated Captain Sheehy and Henry (d), defeated Plerson and Captain clough (H), 2 and 1; Soule and Parker (H) defeated Dold and Manchester (D) 2 and1.
