Coach Stevens last night selected the sixteen men who will go to Philadelphia to row next week. The first crew remains intact, but a violent shakeup has been effected in the second crew, involving the promotion of two Sophomores from the third combination. The latter has been dropped.
Elisha Canning Jr. '26 has been advanced to stroke on the second crew. Heretofore, he has held the same position on the third crew. The second Sophomore is V. F. Righter '26, who from now on will row at seat three on the second crew,--the same position be has held on the third crew in the past. The two men who have been dropped with the third eight are S. N. Brown '24 and G. D. Krumbhaar '26.
Coach Stevens will name four men for a four oared shell of substitutes this morning. These men will be drawn from a group of promoted class crew men and dropped third crew men. This crew will row daily, accessory to the first two crews.
In addition to Coach Stevens, W. C. Ladd '26, second assistant crew manager, and James Connor, rigger, will go to Philadelphia. The sixteen oarsmen and the two coxswains who are to make the trip follow:
