First Year Team Turns in Second Win of Season--Score Is 6-3

The Freshman fencing team won its second victory yesterday afternoon by defeating the M. I. T. Freshman team, 6 to 3. John Winder '27 was the individual star for the Freshman team, defeating all three of his opponents.

Before the meet, Franklin Hollis '27, of Concord, N. H., was elected captain of the team. Hollis lost only one of his encounters yesterday and was the star performer of the team against Andover last week.

The summaries were as follows: Franklin Hollis '27 (H) defeated Caproni (M. I. T.) 5-4, Spitzler (M. I. T.) 5-1, and lost to Deluccia (M. I. T.) 4-5. John Winder '27 (H) defeated Caproni (M. I. T.) 5-3, Davier (M. I. T.) 5-1, and Wurtzel (M. I. T.) 5-2. Kendall Foss '27 (H) lost to Deluccia (M. I. T.) 1-5, R. D. McMullan '27 (H) defeated Caproni (M. I. T.) 5-1 and lost to Deluccia 1-5.
