HAUGHTON STARTS WORK ON COLUMBIA GRIDIRON TOMORROW

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Under the personal direction of P. D. Haughton '99, and a staff of five assistants, spring football will get under way at Columbia tomorrow afternoon on Baker Field. Although many of the most promising candidates are at present engaged in other sports, indications are that an exceptionally large squad will report for the three weeks practice session.

Among the important additions to the coaching staff is Dr. Paul Withington '09, medical adviser to the team last year, who will assist with the line coaching. Dr. Withington is now at his home in Honolulu, Hawaii, but is expected to return in time to take up this work. While at the University he played for two years on the team at guard and center.
