COOPERATIVE SETS NEW RECORD

Membership Total Highest in History--Large Increase in Sales

A new record of membership in the Cooperative Society was established in the past half-year, according to the semi-annual report made public yesterday by Mr. H. S. Thompson, President of the Society. On December 31, 1923, there were 8617 members, as compared to a total of 7975 members on December 31, 1922.

Total sales during the last half-year amounted to $493,153.36, of which $390,272.86 represents business done at the Harvard Store and $102,880.50 the sales at the M. I. T. Store. The increase in sales at the Harvard Store amounted to $53,793.69.
