The University polo team wound up the indoor season with a thrilling victory over the 110th Cavalry team on Saturday night, by the score of 6 to 5, G. E. Kent Jr. '26 was the individual star of the game, scoring five of the six goals. Thayer stood out on the Cavalry team with three goals to his credit.
The game was hotly-contested from start to finish. The University gained a three-point lead in the first period but lost it in the fourth. The victory was anything but decided even when the University team started the sixth and final chucker with the score 5 to 3. The Cavalry team once more tied it up and it was only a brilliant last minute shot by Kent that won the game.
