WRESTLING TOURNAMENT GETS UNDER WAY TODAY

Preliminaries Begin at 4--Finals to be Contested Saturday--Medals Offered for Winner in Each Class

The University wrestling tournament, open to all men in the University, will get under way at 4 o'clock this afternoon at Hemenway Gymnasium. The preliminary bouts will continue tomorrow and Friday and the final bouts will be held on Saturday, on the main floor of Hemenway.

The winners in each class will receive a gold medal and the runner-up will get a silver medal. About thirty men have signed up so far and Coach Lewis expects some very close bouts.

Among the football stars who have entered are: E. S. Daniell Jr. '26 and C. A. Eastman '24. Eastman is a wrestler of considerable experience, having been University heavy-weight champion in 1922, but he is likely to meet some stiff competition from R. W. Ayre '27, the Freshman wrestler who weighs two hundred and twenty pounds. L. W. Schwarz '26, of last year's Freshman team, and F. B. Hll '26, of the University team, in the 158-pound class, and H. R. Wood '27, captain of this year's Freshman team, in the 145-pound class, are also among the entrants.

The Freshman Interdormitory wrestling tournament will begin at 3.30 o'clock.
