Financial difficulties have brought about the temporary disbandment of the Cosmopolitan Club, which started out in December with one of the largest membership it has ever had. When the last executive board retired at the end of the first term, it left the club in a very unsatisfactory position. The club's funds were low, the constitution in an unamended state, and the working policy of the club hazy and ill-defined. The meeting arranged to set matters aright was not called in the first term, since on account of business affairs, the temporarily elected executive board was almost immediately dispersed.
Thinking that to attempt to continue the meetings of the club, in face of the many competitive interests, and the coming of the summer months, is not wise, the committee has decided to suspend activities until early in the year 1924-1925.
