While playing at the Longwood courts yesterday, Donald Stralem '24, who played on last year's University B tennis team, sprained this ankle, possible breaking a small bone. It is hoped that he will be able to resume practice in two weeks but his enforced lay-off will put him at a disadvantage in the competition for the three remaining places on the team that will make the Southern trip.
Stralem was the winner with W. P. Dixon '25 of the fall Union tournament in doubles and he has won several tournaments abroad. His accident, coupled with the ineligibility of L. H. Bondi '25, a member of last year's University team, is a severe blow to the team.
