In a skilfully contested trial that had the audience excited and made the Judges decision almost painfully close, the Langdell-Marshall Club last night in Langdell Hall defeated the Pound Club in the third of the four second-year finals arguments of the Ames Competition.
The arguments for both sides revolved around the correct laws which should apply to the case. The decision was a bare 6 1-2 to 6 1-2 for the respondent.
Professor Felix Frankfurter was Chief Justice.
