Gross Drives in Winning Tally With Minute and a Half to Go

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

On a rink which was just thickly enough covered with falling snow to prevent fast playing, the Freshman hockey team nosed out a victory over St. Mark's School at Southboro yesterday by a 1-0 score.

The Crimson's single point did not come until a minute and a half from the end of the game. The first year men had brought the rubber down the ice and missed a shot at the cage, but Scott followed up the drive and quickly returned the puck to his waiting teammates in front of the goal. Gross got his stick on the rubber and plunged it into the far corner of the net.
