Once again the Crimson first-year quintet will battle against heavy odds this evening, when it journeys to Hanover to meet the Big Green Freshman five. The most optimistic prophet could scarcely give Coach Chase's players more than an outside chance to win.
A fair index to the comparative records of the two teams was Dartmouth's ridiculously easy triumph over the Connecticut Aggies Freshmen by a 27 to 16 score, a team which outscored the Crimson 1927 quintet 31 to 22. Captain Picken, a diminutive guard, is the mainstay of the Green defense and a flashy offensive threat as well.
Coach Chase is taking eight men with him to Hanover. Hesse will be started at forward in place of Eby, who has been a regular all season. Except for this single shift the line-up will remain unchanged. Eby, McCrum, and De Ravignon accopanied the team as substitutes.
