A rat is raising havoc in University Hall. Many of the stenographers are threatening to leave if something is not done about it. But there is something more at the base of the trouble than the traditional feminine fear of the animals.
This is no ordinary rat. It was once, perhaps, but it has been dead now for a week. One of the stenographers yesterday filed four applications for a new job.
"There isn't room for both of us," she announced. "Friend rodent is determined to stay and seems to have the College on his side, for they won't do anything to get rid of him. So I'm going to leave in a hurry."
