SENIOR INSURANCE WILL BE EXPLAINED

Class Treasurer Will Give Method by Which Fund Is to be Raised--Other Committeemen Appointed

The importance of the class gift and the details of the method of raising the money will be explained to the Senior Class Fund Committee at a meeting at the Union on Monday, February 18. The membership of the committee of 42 men was announced last night.

This committee will interview each member of the Class of 1924 living in the dormitories or within easy distance. The remainder of the class will be reached by mail. The solicitors will endeavor to sign up every man for at least the $250 minimum policy of endowment insurance.

Hubbard to Preside

At the meeting on Monday, C. J. Hubbard '25, Chairman of the Class Committee and First Marshall of the Class, will preside. He will introduce Mr. Malcolm Donald '99, a man prominent and active in his class who will talk of the importance to the College, to the class, and to the individual, of the class gift. Following Mr. Donald, the second speaker will be Corliss Lamont '24, who will have direct charge of the drive in his capacity as Class Treasurer and ex-officio chairman of the Class Fund Committee. He will give definite detailed plans of the campaign and of the workings of the endowment insurance plan.

Beginning after the meeting, the drive will open immediately and will last only throughout the week.

Four Assistant Chairmen Chosen

Besides the chairman, Corliss Lamont '24 of Englewood, New Jersey, the new committee has four assistant chairmen, who are the men who were sub-chairmen of the 1924 Freshman finance committee. These are Francis Kernan Jr. '24 of Utica, N. Y.; Isadore Black '24 of Trenton, N. J.; William Lioyd Garrison 3rd '24 of West Newton; and Harry Eldridge '24 of Hempstead, Long Island, N. Y.
