Yale defeated the University polo team Saturday night at the Commonwealth Armory in a fast game by the score of 7 to 6. The Elis also defeated the 101st Field Artillery by 4 1-2 to 3.
Yale got the jump at the start when the pony of one of the University players kicked the ball into the Crimson's goal. The first period ended with the score at 2 to 1 in favor of the Yale horsemen. During the next two periods the score was tied to four goals apiece.
The University opened the fourth period with a rush when Shaw and White each counted a goal. With the score 6 to 4 against them Yale rallied and scored three goals.
