Man Who Managed Clients for High-End Cambridge Brothel Network Pleads Guilty
Parke Cummings '25, by defeating G. B. Perkins '26 in the final set of the match last Saturday, won the Union Singles Tennis Tournament. The score of the set was 6-1.
The finals were begun last Wednesday, when Cummings and Perkins battled through four sets, only to be stopped by darkness. At this point the score was 6-3, 4-6, 6-2, 5-7, 1-0. Cummings won the first and third sets with comparative ease, but dropped the other two to his steady opponent. He had annexed one game in the fifth set when darkness intervened.
Cummings' victory in the final set was due largely to his effective serve and brilliant net play. Perkins' chief advantage lay in his greater steadiness.
Cummings, who played number four on the University tennis team last year, was seeded number one, and Perkins was seeded number two, so there was no upset in the final outcome.
