SOCCER TEAM BOWS TO PENN IN LEAGUE TILT

Green Harvard Players Helpless Before Veteran Quakers--Stops by Thomas Keep Score Down to 5-0

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

The inexperienced Crimson soccer team lost its first league game Saturday to Pennsylvania at Philadelphia 5 to 0. The weak forward line was helpless before the veteran Pennsylvania defense, while the Crimson backs were unable to cope with the home team's attack.

Thomas at goal played a very good game, Sullivan and Tarnowsky were dependable in the defense. Flashy streaks of individual brilliance featured the erratio offense.

Next week the Crimson will face the Dartmouth eleven which lost 3-1 to Yale on Saturday.
