GEORGIA GOLFERS WELCOME R. T. JONES TO NATIVE STATE

Atlanta, Ga., October 15.--R. T. Jones Jr., Harvard '24, amateur champion golfer of the United States, was the guest of honor at a diner given by his home club, the Eastlake Country Club of Atlanta, last night.

Addreszses were delivered by prominent Atlantans and telegrams were read from star golfers all, over the country, expressing regret at their inability to attend.

Jones was praised in speech and song and presented with a dozen silver plates in appreciation of his golfing ability.
