By August of 1925 the Cooperative Society expects to have moved into its new building, located on the site of its former structure on Harvard Square.
Because of the limitation in width imposed by the size of the plot, present plans call for a vestibule in back of the columns of the new building which will contain two large show windows on either side. This will greatly improve the facilities for the display of merchandise which have been very inadequate in the present building.
The rear of the new structure has already been partially completed and the "Coop" will move into this annex shortly before Christmas. As soon as the transfer of merchandise has been accomplished wreckers will tear down the present building.
The new building will be the fourth place in which business has been done in the history of the Society, including Drury Hall on Brattle Square, Dane Hall and Lyceum Hall in which the Coop is now installed.
