David Gordon Lyon Will Discuss Subject With Relation to Bible

David Gordon Lyon '01, Professor Emeritus and Honorary Curator of the Semitic Museum, will give a series of four illustrated lectures on Palestine and the Bible in Room 1 of the Semitic Museum at 3.30 o'clock in the afternoon on Tuesdays and Thursdays throughout January.

The topics have been outlined as follows:

January 8.--"The Natural History of Palestine."

January 10.--"Ancient Palestine as revealed by Exploration, with special reference to the Harvard Excavations at Samaria."

January 15.--"The Palestine of today as illustrating the Bible."

January 17.--The Holy City and the future of Palestine."
