The second hockey team will line-up against the Newton High School this afternoon at 2.30 o'clock on the Charlesbank rinks.
The Harvard team has improved considerably since its season began. Handicapped at first by the lack of ice for practice, the team went to Andover and under miserable conditions played to a scoreless tie. On Monday in the Arena, however, the sextet was able to demonstrate its ability in the defeat of the Noble and Greenough School, 6-1. The team showed aggressive strength and developing team-work but is still a somewhat ragged combination. J. J. Lee '24 and C. L. Harding '26, captain of last year's Freshman team, are starring in the forward line, while S. C. Graves '24 is strong on the defence.
Newton High School will present a formidable aggregation. Of the three games played so far this season the team has won from the Boston Latin School, 8-1, from Stoneham, 3-1, and from the Stone School, 6-0.
