As a result of the squash matches in Class A on Saturday, the University's claim to the state championship is more secure than ever before. Harvard must win but one match in the meet with the Harvard Club of Boston next Saturday to clinch the title. This development came when the B. A. A. lost four of its matches to the Union Boat Club Saturday and was thereby eliminated as a contender for the championship.
In Class B the University team B defeated the Milton Club on the latter's courts, 5-0.

J. D. DuBois '24 defeated G. N. Hurd, 15-10, 9-15, 15-11, 15-9; F. I. Carpenter '24 defeated Appleton King, 12-15, 16-13, 15-11, 15-12; P. R. Pease '26 defeated C. P. Clifford, 12-15, 15-12, 15-12, 15-17, 17-15; J. H. Finley '25 defeated J. Richardson, 16-18, 18-17, 18-15, 16-17, 16-13; G. M. Laimbeer '26 defeated J. B. Ayer, 7-15, 9-15, 15-7, 17-14, 17-14.
The Freshman team was again defeated, this time by the Neighborhood Club of Quincy, 3-2, and H. N. Rawlins '27, the undefeated No. 1 man, won by the narrow margin of one point in the fifth game.

H. N. Rawlins '27 defeated H. Schenkelberger, 15-11, 5-15, 17-16, 12-15, 17-16; R. Wakeman defeated R. B. Merriman '27, 15-9, 15-7, 15-5; M. A. Blackmur defeated J. H. Jackson '27, 15-13, 15-12, 15-12; P. M. Lenhart '27 defeated R. Blackmur, 15-10, 15-9, 15-13; P. Blackmur defeated S. W. De Rahm '27, 11-15, 15-10, 15-10, 13-16, 15-11.
The final match in the college tournament between G. D. Debevoise '26 and W. P. Dixon '25 will be played this afternoon at 4 o'clock on court 14.
