WRESTLERS FOR COLUMBIA TRIP CHOSEN AT TRIALS

Hoague Victor Bradford in Tense Overtime Match--Stearns, Karelitz, Evans, Hayne Among Winners

The wrestling team which will travel to New York next Saturday to meet Columbia has been chosen as a result of trials held last night at the Hemenway Gymnasium. A number of good matches developed, two of them requiring an extra period for decision.

The feature of the afternoon was the match in the heavyweight class between C. H. Bradford '26 and George Hoague '26. In this struggle, after two seven-minute periods both of which were declared a draw, Hoague was given a decision in the third. Both men did remarkably good work.

The summary:

115-pound class.--B. J. Goldberg '26 defeated Milton Krook '25 by decision.

125-pound class.--F. N. Millett '25 selected by award.

135-pound class.--Carl Stearns '26 defeated H. S. Weber '25 by two falls.

145-pound class.--George Karelitz '24 defeated Leo Schwartz '26 by decision, extra period.

158-pound class.--D. W. Evans E.S. selected by award.

175-pound class.--F. B. Hayne '26 defeated E. S. Daniell '26 by decision.

Unlimited class.--George Hoague '26 defeated E. H. Bradford '26 by decision, extra period.
