The annual Phillips Brooks House financial campaign to raise funds for the year's work will be launched next Wednesday evening in the Trophy Room of the Union when a dinner will be given for the collectors and the committee in charge. At that time the purpose and particulars of the drive will be explained.
Gardner Cowles Jr. '25, treasurer of Phillips Brooks House, will be in charge of the campaign this fall, assisted by three district chairmen.
The quota for the campaign has been set at $5000. Of this sum it is expected that $1000 will be raised in the graduate schools and the remaining $4000 will be given by the College. An especial attempt will be made this year to make the canvass of the College complete and to collect something from everyone.
For the purpose of more efficient collection, the College will be divided into three districts, comprising the Yard, Mt. Auburn Street, and the Freshman Dormitories. One of the three assistant chairmen will be in charge of each district. The money collected daily will be turned in at the Crimson Building, 14 Plympton Street, every night.
