HARVARD FIFTH COLLEGE IN POPULARITY AT DARTMOUTH

Hanover, N. H., June 4.--In the annual popular election the Senior class voted Harvard the fifth most popular college after Dartmouth, with Cornell, Yale, Princeton, and Williams first, second, third, and fourth.

In the same election the class voted by 102 to 34, the largest majority on record, that a Phi Beta Kappa key was more desirable than a regular "D", The Seniors considered that the Outing Club had done more for the college than any other institution.

Tennis and golf were placed ahead of hockey and baseball, although football headed the list of outdoor sports; of the indoor games bridge was considered second only to basketball. Boston appeared third on the list of popular cities, standing after New York and Northampton, but before Montreal.

The smokers totaled 136, against 10 who do not use tobacco; 116 avowed that they drank, while 44 declared themselves abstainers.
