Mr. F. W. C. Hersey '99, instructor in the English department, will give an illustrated lecture on the country of Thomas Hardy's novels tomorrow evening at 7.30 o'clock in the Smith Halls Common Room. Mr. Hersey will show several slides made from actual photographs, at the same time reading selections from various novels that describe these particular scenes. The lecture, which will be given under the auspices of the English 28 Club, will be open to members of the University.
