The Crimson campaign against Princeton and the Navy will get under way this evening when 22 members of the University and Freshman crew squads, together with the greater part of the coaching staff, leave by special car at 10.45 for their struggle on Lake Carnegie.
The full complement of oarsmen includes the first University and 1926 crews and two substitutes, chosen during the past week by their respective coaches. The University substitutes are E. S. Matthews '23, captain and stroke of the Junior eight, and C. J. Hubbard Jr. '24, number 5 in the same boat, while the Freshman choices are Elisha Canning Jr. and G. D. Krumbhaar.
The party is scheduled to arrive in Princeton early tomorrow morning where they will have their headquarters at the Cap and Gown Club. Practice on Lake Carnegie will occupy a substantial portion of the morning and afternoon, while Saturday afternoon will probably be devoted to a light work-out preparatory to the races late that afternoon.
