FRESHMEN TO MAKE MERRY AT ANNUAL PARTY TONIGHT

Two Orchestras Will Furnish Music for Dancing Until 2--Will Serve Midnight Supper

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

This evening at 6 o'clock in the Smith Halls quadrangle, the Freshman Jubilee will begin with a singing competition between the hall choruses. Each chorus will sing two college songs and in addition the 1926 Class song.

Standish, with A. M. Carrillo as its leader, will start off with the "Quilting Party" and football songs, after which Smith will sing "A Prayer of Thanks-giving" and "Veritas" under the direction of R. H. Schacht Jr. Gore Hall will end the program with "Upidee" and "Ten Thousand Men of Harvard", led by R. S. Lee. The winner of the song competition, which will be judged by Dr. R. C. Cabot '89, Mr. Edward Ballantine, and Mr. Harrison Potter, is to be awarded a silver cup that has already been won by Gore twice, Standish twice, and Smith once.

Serve Dinner at 6.30

At 6.30 o'clock dinner will be served, during which the Freshman Glee, Mandolin, and Banjo Clubs will give a concert lasting until the presentation of the cup to the winning hall chorus.

Shortly after 8 o'clock, the dancing will begin. Bert Lowe's and Morey Pearl's orchestra of Boston have been secured and will play until 2 o'clock. At 11 o'clock supper will be served.

Several regulations have recently been decided upon to restrict attendance to members of the Freshman class only. All entrances to the dormitories will be open during the afternoon until 4.30 o'clock, when Smith Hall quadrangle will be entirely cleared and C entry of Standish will be closed. To reach their rooms after that time, men not going to the Jubilee will be required to hand in their names to P. P. Cram in Persis Smith A-13. Girls will not be allowed in Gore or Standish after 6 o'clock, nor in Smith after 4.30 o'clock.

The only entrance to the Jubilee will be on Boylston Street. Girls will check their coats in the Freshman gymnasium, and men in James Smith B-13.
