Because of being called home on two separate occassions on account of illness in his family Dr. A. T. Davison '06 was able to lead at only two concerts, the one in New York and the first one in Cleveand: In the other cities his place as conductor was taken by V. G. Thompson '23.
The Club sang on Saturday evening, April 14, in Carnegie Hall, New York City, after which the men were entertained at a smoker by the Harvard Club of New York. From there the Club went to Philadelphia, where they sang on Monday evening. After this concert and a short buffet lunch, the train was boarded for Buffalo, where, after an evening of singing followed by dancing, train was taken for the other end of Lake Erie, for Detroit. On April 20 the Club arrived in Cleveland, where, before the concert, the men were entertained at the Annual Banquet of the Harvard Club of that city. A short ride south brought the organization to Canton, where the fifth concert was given in Cleveland, to which the Club had returned. There in the Masonic Hall and accompanied by the Cleveland Symphony Orchestra a special rehearsal of "Chant de guerre" was held.
